Christmas Street Lighting in Myeongdong

As Myeongdong streets received its first snow on 28 November 2015, you can sense that Christmas is not too far away. Despite the cold winter weather, Myeongdong streets remain hot with beautiful Christmas lighting at night to welcome shoppers to this favourite Christmas shopping district in Seoul.

Myeong-dong in Winter and Christmas Season

If you think a winter visit to Seoul is only good for skiing or visit to theme parks, you may missed the best part of Seoul. Myeongdong remains the most lively shopping district for people in Seoul throughout winter. Certainly, Myeongdong is busier than ever in this season. People in Seoul continues to visit Myeong-dong to shop for fashion, cosmetic and skin cares and for nice restaurant and street food in winter. It is also the best time to take nice photos in Myeong-dong especially at night with the beautiful Christmas Lighting all around. So, bring your DSLR camera if you have one.
