Hi, thank you for an informative blog. We're going to Seoul in October and we pretty much want to explore the city by foot. We'll be staying in Jongno District and would love to visit Insadong and Myeongdong. Would you know if they're just about 30 minutes walk?ReplyDelete
Hello Arriane Zamora,Delete
Yes, you can walk from Myeongdong to Insadong in about 30 minutes if you know the direction. Of course, you could also walk slowly to explore the streets along the way.
Thank you Chicken share! :) I find your blog "From Myeongdong Station (Seoul) to Nami Island" informative too.. I'm reading blogs on how to maximize our trip to Seoul and I'm listing our itineraries. I'd love to take a shuttle bus from Insadong to Nami Island so we can avoid the hassle of getting around the subway station but the bus departs at 8:30 AM. I want us to be either at Nami Island or Garden of the Morning Calm by past 8 AM so we have more time to explore the place. I've read in the blogs it would take about 3-4 hrs to walk around Nami island and about 2 hrs for Petite France and Garden of the Morning Calm. I have to research more on this itinerary.. Again, thank you for the input. :)Delete
